  • Both fighters have an abundance of talent along with fighting styles that are influenced by Champions from previous generations.
  • Black Flash Promotions was founded in 2014 to provide fighters with regular fights on small hall shows around the North of England.
  • Both Lyndon & Zelfa have used this grass root boxing promotion to fight on a regular basis and become two of Britain’s hottest prospects and in potentially two of 
    Manchester’s next World Champions.

The Foundation of a Legacy

Brian Hughes MBE Followed In The Footsteps Of Legendary Trainer ‘Jack Bates’ And Established Collyhurst & Moston Lads In The Late 1960’s. Brian Had A Dream Of Turning Local Lads From The North Into Champions. Brian was awarded an MBE in 2000 for services to the community in the Millennium Honours List.

Brian retired in 2011, and two of his former Collyhurst Champions, Pat Barrett & Thomas Mcdonagh carried on his legacy. Coaching a new wave of fighters, they called “The Next Generation” 2011 -THE LEGACY CONTINUES
